Background agents
Background agents perform bounded jobs that Perpetual launches from product workflows.
Perpetual launches them automatically or in response to an action in the product. Each background agent runs in its own context and has tools for a specific job. A background agent can update a resource, propose further work, or stage content for you to review.
Background agent types
- Alert triage agents route related alerts together, then score and summarize each alert before determining which alerts move forward.
- Case investigation agents analyze cases and maintain their summaries. They also propose further analysis, response tasks, and case fields.
- Threat intelligence agents summarize incoming threat intelligence, evaluate its relevance to each Space, and create detection work.
- Content engineering agent implements a content work item by staging detection and related changes in a changeset for you to review.
- Visualization agents suggest visualizations and produce or edit their specifications from query results and instructions.
